Product Name: Dell Command | Update, Install and Update (v2.4)

Version: 2.4

Description : Checks to make sure the machine is a dell. it then checks to see if the Dell Command Update utility is installed, if not, it downloads and Installs the dell update utility (currently version 2.4). Please note you should check for a new version of the utility and update the variable at the beginning of the script regularly. Once installed it runs the utility to update all drivers, applications and firmware.

I have seen in testing where certain models of dell (older home user models) are not supported by this utility. Designed to work in x64 environments only. Use is at your own risk.

Instructions :

1. Import the Agent Procedure.

2. Check the Dell Update Utility to see what is the latest version. (script is set to version 2.4) (google "Dell Command | Update")

3. Update the constant variable (line 1) with the URL to download the latest version.

Greetings!  I'm using this script but there seems to be an error when trying to pull in the logs from the update itself.

It's trying to pass #vAgentConfiguration.agentTempDir#\DCUCLILog.txt to dcuclilog, but DCU 2.3.1 and 2.4 use /log to set the log directory.  So it's dumping .xml files into a folder called DCUCLILog.txt

    Hi Luke

Not sure what you mean by message above. Could you tell me if you fixed the issue you are describing above?
