macOS Updates - Software Management

Can anyone give me pointers on updating Macs through software management? In scan and analysis, I have OS Patch Engines set to OS Native, per Kaseya's recommendation along with enabling the Mac option in the same window. On the deployment procedure, there are no options. It seems all straightforward but seems to be more complicated then led to believe.
