I think Do's and Dont's are both good
The "Dos" are definitely very helpful. And directing us to this discussion thread is definitely going to motivate me to come back and become more active in searching for the solutions I need.
The Do's - I love a community with users that share what they know and how they use the software!

Technology connects different generations and cultures in one place. Dos (and Don'ts) help us to set guidelines. I prefer dos as they encourage people to break out of their shell, however - don'ts are sometimes needed as reminder.
I like the 'Dont's'. This is always a good reminder: "Solicit advice on or engage in illegal activities"
