Why Can't I See RMM Data in Configuration List View? - Connect IT Community | Kaseya
<main> <article class="userContent"> <p>This article explains how RMM data is displayed in IT Glue. It also covers displaying RMM data columns in IT Glue's configuration list view.</p> <p>Prerequisites</p> <ul><li>A Manager role will only be able to see RMM matched/unmatched data for organizations that they have explicit access to. To grant access to RMM data for all organizations, refer to <strong>Step 7</strong> of our <a href="https://kaseya.vanillacommunities.com/kb/articles/aliases/itglue/hc/en-us/articles/360004938478-Adding-and-removing-users" rel="noopener nofollow">Adding and removing users</a> KB article.</li> </ul><h3 data-id="it-glue-data-vs-rmm-data">IT Glue Data vs. RMM Data</h3> <p>Once you have integrated your RMM tool with IT Glue, you can see additional information when you click into a configuration. This combined view shows data stored in IT Glue fields, and the data pulled in from your RMM tool. You can click <strong>Compare Data </strong>to see the source of the data.</p> <p><img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6032361/uploads/migrated/L5WTI4ALWM4D/itg-imac-10-it-glue.png" alt="ITG-IMAC-10___IT_Glue.png" class="embedImage-img importedEmbed-img"></img></p> <p>You will see which data is written to IT Glue fields and be able to compare it with data from your RMM tool.</p> <p><img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6032361/uploads/migrated/1B6UXDC7940X/itg-imac-10-it-glue-2.png" alt="ITG-IMAC-10___IT_Glue-2.png" class="embedImage-img importedEmbed-img"></img></p> <p>In the screenshot above, you will notice some information coming from both sources such as OS and MAC Address. If there is a discrepancy in information, RMM data will take precedence over IT Glue data in combined view.</p> <p>Please see our <a href="https://kaseya.vanillacommunities.com/kb/articles/aliases/itglue/hc/en-us/articles/360004933697-" rel="noopener nofollow">About RMM Configurations</a> KB article for more detailed information of the differences between data written to IT Glue fields and data overlaid from your RMM configuration.</p> <h3 data-id="adding-rmm-columns-to-configuration-list-view">Adding RMM columns to configuration list view</h3> <p>The default columns in configuration list view show IT Glue data. You can use the column picker to display RMM data in this view.</p> <p><img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6032361/uploads/migrated/RVUKJKMW065T/configurations-it-glue.png" alt="Configurations___IT_Glue.png" class="embedImage-img importedEmbed-img"></img></p> <ol><li>With the column picker open, scroll down to find the columns prefixed with <strong>RMM</strong>. There are now two columns for Operating System information. One is the <strong>OS</strong> column containing IT Glue data and the other is a <strong>RMM - Operating System</strong> column containing RMM data. We highly recommend displaying RMM data as this is usually considered to be most up to date.</p> </li> </ol> </article> </main>
