Reports fail with error: "The remote name could not be resolved: 'kserver'" - Connect IT Community | Kaseya
<main> <article class="userContent"> <p> <strong>Issue: </strong>Running reports in the VSA fails with error: </p> <p><em>There was an error during the render phase of the report generation. There was an error generating the document <Report Name> There was an error generating the document PC Inventory Report The remote name could not be resolved: 'kserver'</em>.</p> <p><strong>Cause: </strong>This is happening because your server name is not set properly via <strong>System > Server Management > Configure </strong>page.</p> <p> </p> <p><img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6032361/uploads/migrated/3XLNU4EAWUS2/2018-07-03-19-23-33-managed-services-edition.png" alt="2018-07-03_19_23_33-Managed_Services_Edition.png" class="embedImage-img importedEmbed-img"></img></p> <p><strong>Resolution/Workaround: </strong>Try setting your server name next to the "<strong>Change external name / IP address of the Server:</strong>"<strong> </strong>option as shown on the image above.
