Linux agent installation failed due to absolute path message - Connect IT Community | Kaseya
<main> <article class="userContent"> <p><strong>Issue</strong>: When installing the Linux agent the installation fails with the following error:</p> <p><img src="/attachments/token/TFWiJZ3MbmvUzkLYXKhtYpdcC/?name=linux.png" alt="linux.png" class="embedImage-img importedEmbed-img"></img></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Cause:</strong> The agent package being used to deploy to the Linux machine includes install switches that are meant for Windows machines.</p> <p><strong>Resolution</strong>: Please edit the package and remove/edit the Windows' installation switches for install path (/p) in this case. To do this, click on the package being used => edit button => On step 3, modify accordingly. At this point you may add the <strong>/r switch </strong>to re-install the agent. </p> <p> </p> <p>If you may encounter any issues please create a support ticket so we can further investigate. </p> </article> </main>
