What is the *SanitizeInput* user in our System Log? - Connect IT Community | Kaseya
<main> <article class="userContent"> <h3 data-id="question"><strong>QUESTION</strong></h3> <p>When I look through the System tab > System Logs, I occasionally see messages from a user titled *SanitizeInput*. What is this user?</p> <p><img src="/attachments/token/DEiSU54sHILqHF7OFB4Ec7oB3/?name=2-9-2015+9-10-31+AM.jpg" alt="2-9-2015_9-10-31_AM.jpg" class="embedImage-img importedEmbed-img"></img></p> <h3 data-id="resolution"><strong>RESOLUTION</strong></h3> <p>Those <em>SanitizeInput</em> messages are part of our active detections for possible SQL injection. Those messages get thrown when you try to either input SQL commands within the Kaseya UI or when you input the wrong type of message into select fields.</p> <p>An example is that a user typed in a word into a field designated for a number.</p> <p>These messages are nothing to be concerned about and have no negative effect on your system.</p> </article> </main>
