KNMi becomes unavailable since upgrade to R8 - Connect IT Community | Kaseya
<main> <article class="userContent"> <p> </p> <p><strong>PROBLEM:</strong><br>After upgrading to Kaseya R8, you see that the KNM service fails periodically leading to loss of functionality<br><br><strong>CAUSE:</strong><br>A problem has been identified and a fix released - 8.0.0.11<br><br><strong>SOLUTION / WORKAROUND:</strong><br>*ON-PREMISES ONLY*<br><br>1. Download and re-run the Kaseya Server Setup (<a href="/home/leaving?allowTrusted=1&target=http%3A%2F%2Fdownload.kaseya.com%2Fkinstall.exe%29">http://download.kaseya.com/kinstall.exe)</a><br>2. Select the addons upgrade option (not VSA)<br>3. Step through the installation wizard.<br>4. On the Addon Installation wizard page, select the Kaseya Patch Process addon (make sure the checkbox that the "Kaseya Patch Process" at the bottom of the add on list is checked)<br>5. Complete the steps of the installation wizard<br><br>*SAAS*<br><br>This fix has been applied to the saas servers, no user action is required<br><br><strong>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:</strong><br>This issue is now marked as closed</p> </article> </main>
