This machine must be on the same LAN as the vPro machines.

This Intel document contains the steps for this - http://communities.intel.com/docs/DOC-4923

Intel supports a "Small Business" mode, and an "Enterprise Mode." Refer to the Intel Configuration Guide and other related Intel materials for details. For "Small Business" mode, it is wise to use a common user name and password for all machines on a particular network (much like having a common standard for a local administrator account on Windows machines).

Once you have validated vPro/AMT communication and credentials are OK, run a LANwatch with "Enable vPro" checked and the vPro/AMT user name and password. You should then see them listed under the Agent tab > View vPro function, and Remote Ctrl > Power Management.

See Kaseya on-line help and Intel documentation for further details

Applies To

Kaseya (2008, v5.0 and above)
Intel vPro/AMT
