For a small set of functions, a single Enable Scheduling access right controls access to the Schedule button for just these functions. This allows you to enable or disable access to the Schedule button in one step. This feature may be expanded in the future to include other functions that have a Schedule button. Currently, access to the Schedule button can be enabled or disabled by user role for the following five functions using a single Enable Schedule access right.

Info Center Reports

Info Center Report Sets

Scan Machine

Initial Update

Automatic Update

To enable Scheduling for these five functions, please take the following steps:

Navigate to System > User Roles and select the user role

Within the User Role details for the role for which scheduling is to be enabled, click the Access Rights tab

Click the Set Role Access Rights button

Drill down to System > System Preferences and check Enable Scheduling

Save the changes

APPLIES TO

Scheduling
