<main> <article class="userContent"> <h3 data-id="question">Question</h3> <p>How do I import GoDaddy Certificates into the VSA?</p> <h3 data-id="answer">Answer</h3> <ol><li> <strong>Cleanup Old Certificates</strong> <ol><li>Open MMC</li> <li>Click File > Add/Remove Snap-in</li> <li>Select Certificates > Add > Computer Account > Next > Finish > Ok</li> <li>Expand Certificates > Personal</li> <li>Right-click on your cert that expired or you are replacing, and delete it</li> <li>Also if you have any old Certificate Requests related to your certificate remove them as well</li> </ol></li> <li> <strong>Rekeying The Certificate</strong> <ol><li>Launch Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.</li> <li>Click the Server > Double Click Server Certificates.</li> <li>On the panel on the right, click Create Certificate Request.</li> <li>For Cryptographic service provider, select Microsoft RSA SChannel Cryptographic Provider.</li> <li>For Bit length, select 2048 or higher, and then click Next.</li> <li>Click …, enter the location and file name for your CSR, and then click Finish.</li> <li>Request the key or rekey from GoDaddy.</li> </ol></li> <li> <strong>Installing the Certificates</strong> <ol><li>Download the certificate from GoDaddy.</li> <li>Double Click the gd-g2_iis_intermediates.p7b to install the intermediate certificates.</li> <li>Launch Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.</li> <li>Click the Server > Double Click Server Certificates.</li> <li>Click Complete Certificate Request.</li> <li>Find the .crt file that you received from GoDaddy, (if you don't see it set the file type at the bottom of the window to *.*)</li> <li>Set the Friendly Name to match the name of the cert</li> <li>Leave the Certificate store on Personal</li> </ol></li> <li> <strong>Setting it up with Kaseya</strong> <ol><li>Continue installing the certificate in Kaseya by following the guide below: <a rel="nofollow" href="https://kaseya.vanillacommunities.com/kb/articles/aliases/kaseya/hc/en-gb/articles/115000637668">Using An Existing SSL Certificate - R9.4 or later</a> </li> </ol></li> </ol><p><strong>Please note: Kaseya does not provide technical support for certificates.
