Sending a Test Email through Kaseya VSA

Question
I am trying to send a test email through the Kaseya VSA. I have setup the
IIS and Default SMTP Virtual Server. My emails are being sent to the Queue
folder and then later the BadMail folder within IIS. I am running Windows
2000 Server and IIS. Do I need to have DNS setup on the server for this to
work?

Answer
You need DNS to send mail to external addresses, otherwise the server cannot resolve to an MX record for the domain name.
