How do I restore metadata into Salesforce using Spanning Backup? - Connect IT Community | Kaseya
<main> <article class="userContent"> <p>Spanning Backup for Salesforce offers metadata restore of 17 specific metadata types, making it easy to restore metadata directly in Spanning Backup. Log into your Spanning Backup for Salesforce account as the System Administrator.<br> 2. Click the "Restore" tab at the top.<br> 3. Select "Metadata" and "This Org" then click the "Next" button.<br><br><img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6032361/uploads/migrated/WV5HFD1QHE4X/847478." alt="" class="embedImage-img importedEmbed-img"></img><br><br> 4. Select the date of the metadata backup that you're wanting to restore from. You do this by using the calendar data selector towards the top of the page.<br> 5. Choose the metadata items you want to restore by expanding the displayed metadata types and then selecting the individual items. Once you've selected all the items you want to restore, click "Next".<br> 7. You will also be notified via email and Chatter (if enabled) when the restore is complete.<br><br><br><strong>To restore metadata into a different Salesforce org:</strong><br><br> 1. Log into your Spanning Backup for Salesforce account as the System Administrator.<br> 2. Click the "Restore" tab at the top.<br> 3.
