What happens if I restore a calendar or event to an account different than the one from which it was backed up?
The account to which it was restored will become the new owner of the calendar or event.

Can I restore multiple Office 365 events at one time?
Users can restore one, multiple, or all events from any backup.

What happens if attendees are restored with Calendars?
Calendar attendees are restored with the calendar event, so that the user where the calendar is restored will see all of the original attendees for the events.

Where are restored Office 365 Calendars and Calendar Events restored to?
Restored items will restore to a newly created "Restored on (date)" calendar.

How do I search for Office 365 events to restore?
You can search for events in the search bar by the event title or creator's name, and filter to view only recurring or one-time events.

Do restored Office 365 Calendars or Events overwrite existing Calendars or Events?
No. Restores from Spanning Backup are "non-destructive", and will not overwrite existing calendars or events. Instead, each calendar item is placed into a newly created "Restored on (date)" calendar.

Does Spanning back up Office 365 Group Calendars?
We currently do not back up group calendars, but have plans to add this feature in the future.

Does Spanning back up shared Office 365 Calendars?
Due to a limitation in the Office 365 Exchange APIs, shared calendars are backed up only in the account in which it was created.

What Office 365 Calendars are included in the backup?
Spanning backs up all calendars that a licensed user creates.
