<main> <article class="userContent"> <h2 data-id="summary"><strong>SUMMARY</strong></h2> <p>Backups may fail because of clustered Hyper-V VM scheduling that should not be allowed by the UI.</p> <h2 data-id="issue"><strong>ISSUE</strong></h2> <p>The UI may permit users to schedule and backup VMs directly from a Hyper-V cluster node rather than requiring registration of the cluster resource. This can lead to backup failure if VMs failover to another node in the cluster. </p> <h2 data-id="resolution"><strong>RESOLUTION</strong></h2> <p>To resolve this issue, upgrade your appliance to version 10.0. </p> </article> </main>
