<main> <article class="userContent"> <h2 data-id="summary"><strong>SUMMARY</strong></h2> <p>In some cases where a customer has deployed UB to a Linux distribution (no longer a supported deployment option) and chose to use eSATA connected disk for backup storage.</p> <h2 data-id="issue"><strong>ISSUE</strong></h2> <p>Appliances that use eSATA mounted backup storage and were deployed as installable software (metal) may experience recovery failures. This issue typically occurs in appliances that are attempting to recover cold backup copies from SAS-connected tape drives. </p> <h2 data-id="resolution"><strong>RESOLUTION</strong></h2> <p>To resolve this issue, upgrade your on-metal Linux deployable UB appliance to version 10.1. </p> </article> </main>
