<main> <article class="userContent"> <h2 data-id="summary"><strong>SUMMARY</strong></h2> <p>An issue has been resolved regarding protecting Oracle database instances that are configured to use direct I/O.</p> <h2 data-id="issue"><strong>ISSUE</strong></h2> <p></p> <p>Network protocol options were insufficient for Oracle Database backups on Linux platforms, causing Oracle 11g to not backup.
