Use the Licensing tab of the Configure page to select the hosts on which you will be performing backup and replication. The total available socket count is displayed at the top of the page and decreases as you select available hosts in your environment. All licenses are submitted and managed through the <strong>Presentation</strong> VBA. It is also possible to restore regardless of license status.</p> <h2 data-id="licensing-options">Licensing Options</h2> <h3 data-id="essentials"><strong>Essentials</strong></h3> <p>The Essentials edition is a limited licensing option that allows you to protect up to six sockets for both VMware and Hyper-V. This license permits for the customer management and support of only one hypervisor and one environment. Third party tools are required for granular exchange and Sharepoint recovery.</p> <h3 data-id="professional"><strong>Professional</strong></h3> <p>The Professional edition allows VMware and Hyper-V users to protect an unlimited number of sockets. As with the Essentials edition, this license permits for the customer management and support of only one hypervisor and one environment. Third party tools are required for granular exchange and Sharepoint recovery.</p> <h3 data-id="enterprise"><strong>Enterprise</strong></h3> <p>In addition to the features in the Essentials and Professional editions, the Enterprise edition includes centralized management and support for multiple hypervisors and environments along with options for granular exchange and Sharepoint recovery.
