<main> <article class="userContent"> <h2 data-id="summary"><strong>SUMMARY</strong></h2> <p>Appliance UI is blank following DR from a cold backup copy.</p> <h2 data-id="issue"><strong>ISSUE</strong></h2> <p>When performing a DR, insufficient space on the target appliance may cause the database to fail to start. If this issue occurs, a blank screen is observed when attempting to log in to the newly recovered appliance. </p> <h2 data-id="resolution"><strong>RESOLUTION</strong></h2> <p>There are two ways to resolve this issue: </p> <ol><li>Perform the DR procedure on a new target appliance with backup storage expanded to greater than or equal to the size of the original appliance's cold backup copy media. </li> <li>(Required for a Recovery Series appliance target) Perform the DR procedure without selecting assets for import. All cold backup copy data will be present on the recovered appliance; however, these backups will need to be manually imported after the DR process is complete. </li> </ol> </article> </main>
