<main> <article class="userContent"> <h2 data-id="summary"><strong>SUMMARY</strong></h2> <p>Reports page (8.0)</p> <h2 data-id="issue"><strong>ISSUE</strong></h2> <p></p> <p>The Report page consists of a main interface that allows the user to select the report category, report type, and any related report configuration options.</p> <p><strong>Figure - Reports Page</strong></p> <p><img alt="User-added image" height="219" src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6032361/uploads/migrated/6HEYOEQOVHDL/eid-ka01w000000tcsi-feoid-00n40000002yvfa-refid-0em40000000mkly." width="500" class="embedImage-img importedEmbed-img"></img></p> <h2 data-id="categories-and-available-reports">Categories and Available Reports</h2> <p>Each report category has a selection of report types available to generate on demand. Below are the categories and the list of available reports along with a description of the information each report contains.</p> <h3 data-id="backup"><strong>Backup</strong></h3> <ul><li> <strong>Protection Summary</strong> - Includes summary information and graphs of all VM’s protection status and also both the Protected and Unprotected VM report tables.</li> <li> <strong>Protected VMs</strong> - Includes all VMs that had a successful backup within the selected date range.</li> <li> <strong>Unprotected VMs</strong> - Includes all VMs that did not have a successful backup within the selected date range.</li> <li> <strong>Backup History</strong> - Includes all backup details for all VM backups within the selected date range.</li> </ul><h3 data-id="replication"><strong>Replication</strong></h3> <ul><li> <strong>Protection Summary</strong> - Includes summary information and graphs of all VM’s protection status and also both the Protected and Unprotected VM report tables.</li> <li> <strong>Replication History </strong>- Includes details for all replications by VM within the selected time frame.</li> <li> <strong>Replication Summary</strong> <strong>- </strong>Includes details for the most recent replication for each VM within the selected time frame.</li> </ul><h3 data-id="archive"><strong>Archive</strong></h3> <ul><li> <strong>Protection Summary</strong> - Includes summary information and graphs of all VM’s protection status and also both the Protected and Unprotected VM report tables.</li> <li> <strong>Archive History</strong> - Includes details for all archives by VM within the selected time frame.</li> <li> <strong>Archive Summary</strong> <strong>- </strong>Displays all archive activity over the selected time period.</li> </ul><h3 data-id="storage"><strong>Storage</strong></h3> <ul><li> <strong>Backup Storage</strong> - Includes details for all configured backup data stores.</li> <li> <strong>VM Storage</strong> - Displays backup storage details per VM.<br><br><strong>Note:</strong> The stats within the <strong>VM Storage</strong> report are cumulative per VM. Only those results will appear in the table. When you export the report, only the filtered results will appear in the file.</p> <h3 data-id="exporting-a-report"><strong>Exporting a Report</strong></h3> <p>After a report is generated, you can export it as a <strong>PDF</strong> or <strong>Excel</strong> file by clicking <img alt="User-added image" src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6032361/uploads/migrated/OSQDYZMCS8WK/eid-ka01w000000tcsi-feoid-00n40000002yvfa-refid-0em40000000mkmx." class="embedImage-img importedEmbed-img"></img> or <img alt="User-added image" src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6032361/uploads/migrated/JSAQR07ZGVZS/eid-ka01w000000tcsi-feoid-00n40000002yvfa-refid-0em40000000mkmc." class="embedImage-img importedEmbed-img"></img> at the top right side of the page. When you export a report as a <strong>PDF</strong>, you can save it locally to keep as a record or email it out to others. Exported as an <strong>Excel</strong> file, the report can be altered in <strong>Excel</strong> by adding calculations, re-organizing columns, or by any other adjustment the program allows.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Note:</strong> Any of the reports can be exported to <strong>PDF</strong> or <strong>Excel</strong>.</p> </article> </main>
