These shares are available for SQL and Hyper-V servers 2012 and higher. Use the procedures described below to install the file server and file server VSS service roles. Run the “Server Manager” application.</p> <p>2. Select ‘Add Roles and features.’</p> <p>3. Navigate to the available Roles and select ‘File and Storage Services’; expand the available features under it.</p> <p>4. Select ‘File and iSCSI Services’</p> <p>5. Enable ‘File Server’</p> <p>To install the File Server VSS Agent Service role</p> <p>1. Run the “Server Manager” application</p> <p>2. Select ‘Add Roles and features’</p> <p>3.
