You must perform a cold Bare Metal by creating the Bare Metal media from the appliance for the client machine. After booting the client from the Bare Metal media, select Utilities > Advanced > Backup Entire Disk. Then perform a Bare Metal backup of every disk in this configuration separately. When restoring the disk the user cannot perform a selective partition restore. Users must use the Restore All options from the Restore menu for every disk separately.

Beginning in release 7.4, you can implement hot bare metal protection for Windows servers with GPT disks using the integrated bare metal recovery feature.
