Backup groups are not broken by the unexpected shutdown, so it is not necessary to run new full backups. If a scheduled full backup is unable to complete because of the unexpected shutdown, the next scheduled incremental backup might be promoted to a full. It is thus recommended that you monitor backup jobs after bringing the appliance back online to verify that it is not running full backups during inconvenient times. If necessary, you can terminate these backups and reschedule them to run at more convenient times.
