The rapid seed process uses either a Unitrends NAS device or a directly attached drive as a vehicle to move data between appliances. Rapid seeding is supported by Unitrends Recovery Series physical appliances, as well as Unitrends Backup virtual appliances hosted on Hyper-V, VMware, or XenServer.</span></span></span></p> <p><b>Note</b>: For NAS seeding, only Unitrends supplied NAS devices are compatible with the rapid seed process.</p> </div> </article> </main>
