What happens when a 'Replicate' Protection Group operation fails?
Protection Group is the basic unit of operation in Boomerang. Replication of a PG either succeeds completely or not. When a ‘Replicate’ Protection Group operation fails, you are notified that the Protection Group is not replicated successful into the cloud.
At this point, or at a later time, you can initiate another ‘Replication’ operation. Boomerang will then attempt to ‘Replicate’ the PG again, by resuming the replication processes from the last failure points, thereby improving the efficiency of subsequent ‘Replicate’ PG processes, while ensuring consistency is maintained with original VMs.
